Im obsessed !

Although I haven't done much research, Greek Traditional architecture has always stood out to me.  White washed walls and elegant curves in contrast to the bright blue skies of greece create an ambiance of relaxation. An architectural style that is iconic and has been for centuries with a timeless look.

Living Under the Sea

What's better than watching a Disney classic for a bit of inspiration. After watching The Little Mermaid I was curious to find out wether or not underwater homes exist? Would it be possible to create an environment safe enough to enable humans to live and work under the sea? Could communities be built and businesses strive in what can seem to be a completely diffferent world.

There would be no eating going on whilst visiting the Ithaa restaurant at Hilton Maldives Resort and Spa, The
270 degree views of our ocean would be a major distraction.

The resorts restaurant that rests 5 meters in the sea must be replaced every 20 years. This could be a major problem for under water living. Would the average family be capable of re-buying their home's repeatedly? Could these underwater home's be self sufficient?

And here it is; BRIEF #1

“Boogazine”, a piece of research and critical enquiry in the form of a magazine.
Significant emphasis should be given to visual material in the work.

You are required to propose an object that you wish to research and to take a particular critical position
about that object. ‘Object’ in this context is something that exists, or has existed in historical time. It could
be anything as long as it:

a. connects directly to interior design/architecture and
b. you can research it in depth in order to develop and sustain a line of critical enquiry.

It should be also be something that you personally find interesting. It can be a building or interior, but it
could also be for example, a film, design movement, item of furniture, architectural style , designer, book
etc.. Your Boogazine should aim to find something new to say about the object.
